In the first week of January, the founder of Lagle Arm FMJ Accounting Services OÜ sold her 80% stake to former CEO Kaie Moisa, who previously owned 20% of the company, making her the full owner of FMJ OÜ.
Kaie Moisa has been CEO of FMJ OÜ since March 2014. Going forward, Moisa wants to keep the company on the same broad course “We have evolved with the tax environment, with our clients and with the business environment”. FMJ is no longer limited to Tartu or Jõhvi but clients have found us all over Estonia.” The current challenging times in Estonia have given us the opportunity to be closer to our clients with our advice than ever before.
Under Moisa’s leadership, the company’s pay system was changed to a performance-based system in the same year. In the second quarter of 2020, FMJ OÜ was ranked 22nd in the Äripäev ranking of accounting firms with an average gross salary of €1,390 per month. The company has 7 employees.
FMJ offers a very modern accounting and financial management service, with a total of over 100 clients as of 2021. FMJ’s major clients are V Spa Hotel, Hotelliveeb, Estonian Prison Industry, Liisbet Invest, Agdeck, Jõhvi Care Centre.
FMJ was established in 1998 in Tartu, the Jõhvi office was opened in 2009. The Jõhvi office now accounts for 60% of the company’s total turnover. In 2019, the company had a turnover of €237k and a profit of €24k. The average annual turnover growth for the last 5 years has been 13%.
